Writer Steven Moffat and director David Nutter executive produce The Time Traveler’s Wife. The season one finale will air on HBO and be available to stream on HBO Max this Sunday.

An intricate and magical love story, adapted by Steven Moffat from the much loved novel by Audrey Niffenegger, this series tells the story of Clare and Henry, and a marriage with a problem… time travel.

Moffat’s notable credits include Doctor Who and Sherlock. Nutter is best known for his work on Smallville, Game of Thrones, and Band of Brothers.

I spoke with the duo about turning the beloved story into a TV show, their favorite moments from the series, the time travel element, challenges that were specific to this project, and much more!
