‘DC in Concert’ to Celebrate the 35th Anniversary of ‘Batman’

In 2024, Bat-fans will have the opportunity to watch Tim Burton’s classic Batman film in a whole new way. In conjunction with the film’s 35th anniversary, Warner Bros. has once again teamed up with TCG Entertainment to bring superhero cinema to a concert hall near you!

The DC in Concert experience kicked off earlier this year when Matt Reeves’ The Batman made its way across the country accompanied by a live orchestra to play Michael Giacchino’s instantly iconic score alongside the film. Now the concert series will come full circle by showcasing the original cinematic Batman and Danny Elfman’s paradigm-shifting music.

“Hot on the heels of our success with our first DC in Concert tour, we are excited to bring the classic 1989 Batman and its acclaimed score to diehard fans and new generations for the film’s 35th anniversary,” said Stephen Cook, President, TCG Entertainment, in a press release. “We create an unforgettable concert experience and are proud of the added creativity the DC in Concert series offers audiences to make the night an epic event.”

The DC in Concert tour featuring Batman ’89 launches in January at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. The tour then visits 11 additional U.S. cities before concluding in Paris and London in May — a few weeks before the film’s June 23 birthday. Be on the lookout for additional stops and dates since 2024 is going to be a big year for Batman.
