Getting into the ‘Crater’ with Thomas Boyce

Last month, Disney+ debuted an absolutely charming, but poignant movie called Crater. The movie — in some ways, the hybrid between Stand by Me and Armageddon — features an ensemble of misfit teens on a colony on the moon, who hijack a rover to explore a crater on the desolate outreaches of space.

Among the cast is dynamic newcomer, Thomas Boyce, who plays Marcus, a brave space adventurer with a fragile heart condition. We were lucky enough to sit down with Boyce to discuss his role in the film, and the making of this grand Disney adventure!

Boyce is a relative newcomer to the Hollywood scene, but as many can tell by his touching performance, he’s a terrific talent. And to see him really shine on-screen with an ensemble that includes McKenna Grace and Kid Cudi was impressive to say the least.

Here’s what he had to say about the movie, and what it was like to team up with his fellow cast members to make this adventure come to life:

Crater is now streaming on Disney+.
